Strawberries and Cream Oatmeal

This recipe is just in time for Valentines Day. The strawberries lend a beautiful pink hue to the oatmeal – a perfect breakfast for your sweetheart self. 😉


Feel free to puree your strawberries before hand or just stir them in at the end if you like the chunks. Feel free to use a different grain (like millet grits or quinoa) in place of the oats.

Strawberries and Cream Oatmeal

  • 1/3 c. oatbran or rolled oats
  • 1 c. milk or water
  • 1/4 t. vanilla extract
  • 1 c. fresh or frozen and thawed strawberries
  • 1 T. cashew butter
  • 1/2 T. coconut butter
  • shredded coconut

Combine the oats, milk, and vanilla extract and cook until done. Stir in your strawberries and cashew butter.


Top with coconut butter and shredded coconut.


Savor. 🙂
