Test shots

Anytime I get a new toy, even before I really know how it works, I like to play around with it a little bit. I wanted to pretend like I knew how to take really great photographs, snap some pictures. Get the feel of the camera, and love the noise it makes as it snaps a photo.

Edy loves to curl up into the tightest places she can get into. And since she lays around most of the day she was really easy to have as a pretend model.

During my lunch break from school, I opted to come home and read through my new book to delve into the world of photography just a little bit.

Yep, sitting on the floor in my room. Don’t mind the huge stack of magazines I want to read. I subscribe to Runner’s World, Backpacker, Yoga Journal, and Fitness magazine, and would rather read books. I’ve started bringing magazines as my entertainment while on the elliptical. Multi-tasking.

Last night’s quick dinner: turkey sandwich, with a bowl of soup.

Quite possibly one of my favorite meals for now. With some sweet potato chips and edamame.

One week until school is over! Who else is excited for Christmas break? What are your plans?

  1. I can’t wait until the Husband lets me open my new camera! I will have it around my neck all day on Christmas!!!

I did the same thing every night for weeks after getting my camera at this time last year. So much fun.

Multi-tasking on the ET is the only way to make that godforsaken machine bearable. I get a lot of magazines too. But I prefer books when I am at home.

What kind of bread is that? I miss sandwiches…

  3. Caitlyn says:

Those sweet potato chips are addicting!
